PROJECTS #0820 - 46 VARIOUS PROJECTS AND OPPORTUNITIES
Problem:
The DESHUMI Foundation is serving at the heart of the highest levels of poverty in the country. The government and other institutions are working but the needs are many.
Projects:
This section consists of twenty-six projects or opportunities regarding infrastructural construction or repair. Some of the buildings are: schools, Bible institutes, health centers, churches, libraries, homes for widows or families in need, children's feeding centers, etc. There are also projects for water supply, equipping buildings for community service, education programs on securities, books, computers, vehicles, food, etc.
The amount of these project range from U$D 8,000 (eight thousand dollars)
to U$D 170,000 (one hundred seventy thousand dollars).

PROJECT #0847 - MOBILE CLINIC
Problem:
The province of Chaco is one of the most deprived provinces of the country of Argentina. Statistics show that some of the highest concentrations of poverty exist in that area.
Project:
The project will provide the necessary equipment to bring aid to the neediest areas of the province, especially distant locations that are difficult to access, through doctors and nurses, mostly volunteers.
Adequate equipment for this service will be acquired. Our goal is to provide the necessary infrastructure for professionals to bring caring attention to communities with high health risk.
The budget includes basic operating costs for three years.
The total budget U$D 385,000 (three hundred eighty-five thousand dollars).

PROJECT #0848 - UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS
Problem:
In Argentina, especially in the north, there are many young people who are willing to explore and seek a better future but do not have sufficient financial resources to do so. This reality is especially evident in the indigenous area.
Project:
The project will provide help to a select group of students who have demonstrated responsibility in their previous studies and will fail to continue towards their university studies unless they are assisted spiritually, morally and financially.
We will attend fifty selected young persons for a period of five years, in the extent that they demonstrate commitment and accomplishments of academic progress.
The total budget U$D 756,250 (seven hundred and fifty-six thousand two hundred and fifty).

PROJECT #0849 - COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY
Problem:
The indigenous population in Argentina is submerged in the most extreme misery, suffering all kinds of needs. The Supreme Court of Justice has expressed this situation and is asking for help to change this unfortunate situation. The governor of the province of Chaco has declared their area as an emergency zone. The provincial government is looking for help, because it acknowledges that it does not have the necessary resources to provide an adequate response to this unfortunate situation.
Project:
The project will focus on assisting the indigenous community, mostly people from the Toba ethnic group in northeastern Argentina. The project presents a holistic approach, encompassing all aspects of the life of these communities, such as education, preventive health, micro enterprises for job creation, development of values that will enable comprehensive development in the course of time. It focuses on attending all ages and the family as a whole. The project will be developed in four phases spanning three years from obtaining the financial resources.
Total budget U.S. $ 4,100,000 (four million one hundred thousand US dollars).
